Hi, I'm Matic! (pronounced: mah-teetz)
I'm a Digital Artist based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, with a focus on science, space, and cute silly things. Also, I’m a proud Supersider - working as a Motion Creative Lead.
I create for different types of animated content - either by leading creative teams, developing narratives & visual styles, or by single-handedly directing, designing & animating projects from concept to completion. I feel right at home when I’m helping clients with imaginative sci-fi themes or projects related to science, health, space, or technology.
With 17 years of practice, I provide my creative services by drawing from my past experiences: as a studio’s creative lead, a creative producer & manager, a motion designer,
a compositor, a video editor, and way before that, a LEGO enthusiast - it’s probably why I still feel sparked and inspired when I’m combining different styles & techniques.
When I’m not sitting behind the screen, I’m usually on some grand sci-fi adventure, exploring the universe with my kid. I also like robots, bunnies, kimchi, and meditation.
